De Gooijer blev bygget i 1775. Møllen er af typen gulvmølle og har funktionen som poldermølle. Møllen ligger ved Wolvega ved bækken Linde.
Oprindeligt lå møllen ved Blesdijke. Efter cirka tres år blev møllen ca. 1835 for første gang flyttet til Nordwolde, hvor møllen fungerede som kornmølle i cirka firs år. I 1917 blev møllen for anden gang flyttet. Møllen var før restaureringen i 1991 kendt som De Walden og er omdøbt efter den sidste professionelle møller på møllen. Ejeren er foreningen It Fryske Gea.
