Den stenede krop af denne mølle er relativt set særdeles tyk; dette fordi planen var at gøre den til en stangmølle. Dette syntes nødvendigt på grund af planting af en skov. Da mølleren formåede at forhindre dette, behøvede møllen ikke at blive så høj, og han besluttede at lave den til en højmølle; derfor er forholdene af denne mølle lidt mærkværdige.
