Da der for mere end en hundrede år siden postbetjeningen blev vigtig, blev posthuset placeret i det daværende rådhus på den anden side af Dorpsstraat. I 1936 blev et nyt posthus bygget på Dorpstraat 23. Denne store bygning med mange skranker har været i drift indtil 2006. I dag tilbydes der sundhedspleje her, og KPN leverer stadig telekommunikation fra bygningen bagved.
