Janssenmøllen i Oirsbeek er opkaldt efter møllerfamilien, som i mange år har boet og malet i denne mølle. Området, hvor møllen er bygget, udgør et ideelt sted for en vindmølle.
Det er et plateau, hvis fod går forholdsvis stejl over i en sandvej. Set fra dette plateau er møllen af typen grundmølle, men fra foden af plateauet er en indkørsel gravet ud. Derfor ser den på den side ud som en beltmølle.
