El Janssenmolen en Oirsbeek lleva el nombre de la familia molinera que vivió y molió en este molino durante muchos años. El terreno donde se construyó el molino es un lugar ideal para un molino de viento.
Es una meseta cuya base se convierte en un camino de arena bastante empinado. Desde esta meseta, el molino es del tipo de molino de tierra, pero desde la base de la meseta se ha excavado una entrada. Por eso, desde ese lado parece un molino de cinturón.
