I 1916 blev sporvognslinjen fra Drieschouwen til Kloosterzande åbnet, som blev drevet af ZVTM (Zeeuwsch-Vlaamsche Tramweg-Maatschappij). Sporet løb fra Drieschouwen gennem Oranjestraat, Kerkdreef til Stationsstraat, hvor det måtte krydse jernbanen Mechelen-Terneuzen (MT-54). Da toget havde forkørselsret over sporvognen, havde de bygget en sandkasse i Stationsstraat, hvor sporvognen i nødsituationer kunne dirigeres for at undgå en kollision i krydset. Fra 1. februar 1934 blev passagertransporten indstillet, og i september 1949 blev godstransporten også stoppet, og sporvognslinjen blev opgivet.
