Masteskoven, anlagt for mere end 500 år siden af Hendrik III af Nassau, kaldes også 'Bredas baghave'.
Man går derfor ind i skoven fra kvarteret Ginneken.
Storslåede bøgealléer, udstrakte hedeområder, mørke nåleskove og smukke moser veksler med hinanden.
Bredanere, men også mange natursøgere der udenfor, bruger skoven til at gå og cykle, dyrke sport og slappe af eller bare nyde naturen.
På dette sted er der foretaget en lydmåling.
