Vale de Estrela er en kommune i distriktskredsen og distriktet Guarda i Portugal, som også omfatter udvidelsen Albardeiros. Vale de Estrela ligger i Serra da Estrela og grænser op til naturparken Serra da Estrela.
Indtil 1928 blev Vale de Estrela kaldt Porcas. Dette toponym henviser til eksistensen af Vale de Estrelas på tidspunktet for Reconquista. Forhistoriske og tidlige historiske fund er ikke kendt, selvom stednavnet er blevet knyttet til dolmer.
