Alfama er den ældste bydel i Lissabon, som ligger mellem São Jorge-slottet og Tagus. Navnet 'alfama' kommer fra det arabiske al hamma, som betyder noget i retning af 'bade' eller 'kilder'. Bydelen er en kendt turistattraktion, især på grund af de mange gamle bygninger, fadobarer og restauranter. Der er mange snoede gader og smøger at finde.
