Padrão da Memoria (Mindemonumentet) er et monument over det første forsøg fra Pedros liberale tropper på at lande ved Ave-flodens udmunding den 8. juli 1832.
Dette forsøg blev forpurret af afslaget fra brigadegeneral Cardoso de Menezes, guvernør for fæstningen São João Baptista, og tvang de seks dusin skibe til at sejle længere sydpå og gøre et andet forsøg. Efter at have krydset fyrreskovene syd for Ave-floden, landede de endelig i Pampelido. Disse tusindvis af liberale blev kaldt "Bravos do Mindelo".
André Silvas historiske ord er indgraveret på søjlen: " Soldater! "Se praias está do malfadado Portugal " ("Soldater! Det er strandene i det uheldige Portugal").
