Lesachtal ist eine Gemeinde mit 1339 Einwohnern in Kärnten. Sie umfasst mit den Ortschaften Liesing, Maria Luggau, St. Jakob, Birnbaum und St. Lorenzen die westlichen zwei Drittel des Kärntner Lesachtals zwischen der Tiroler Grenze und Kötschach-Mauthen.
Der östliche Teil des Tals mit der Ortschaft St. Jakob gehört zur Gemeinde Kötschach-Mauthen. Beide Gemeinden liegen im politischen Bezirk Hermagor im österreichischen Bundesland Kärnten.
