Naarn im Machlande ist eine an der Donau gelegene Marktgemeinde in Oberösterreich im Bezirk Perg im Mühlviertel mit 3705 Einwohnern .Naarn im Machlande liegt nördlich der Donau auf 245 m ü. A. zur Gänze im oberösterreichischen Teil der Machlandebene. Aus geologischer und geomorphologischer Sicht sowie unter Aspekten der Raumnutzung gehört Naarn ausschließlich zur Raumeinheit Machland und hat keine nennenswerten Erhebungen. Der Höhenunterschied innerhalb des Gemeindegebietes beträgt nur 9 Meter. Bodenschätze auf dem Gemeindegebiet sind im Wesentlichen Schotter und Kies, die dort in geringen Mengen auch abgebaut werden.
