Enns ist eine Stadt mit 12.025 Einwohnern im Bezirk Linz-Land in Oberösterreich. Sie liegt an der Donau und am Fluss Enns, der hier die Grenze zu Niederösterreich bildet.Die Stadt bezeichnet sich als älteste Stadt Österreichs, was jedoch umstritten ist. Die Stadtrechtsurkunde aus dem Jahr 1212 ist auf jeden Fall die älteste, im Original erhaltene Urkunde und kann im Ennser Museum besichtigt werden. Enns ist die Nachfolgestadt von Lauriacum, das 212 zur Stadt erhoben wurde. Außerdem war Enns die erste Cittàslow-Stadt Österreichs. Wahrzeichen der Stadt ist der 60 m hohe Stadtturm.
