Doren ist eine österreichische Gemeinde mit 1045 Einwohnern , die sich im Norden des Bregenzerwalds im Vorarlberger Bezirk Bregenz befindet.Das Gemeindegebiet Dorens befindet sich im Nordwesten des Bregenzerwaldes. Die Gemeinde Doren liegt etwa zu zwei Drittel auf der Südseite des Sulzbergstocks, welcher zur Molassezone zählt, und zu einem Drittel an dessen Nordseite. Die Gemeindegrenze der Gemeinde wird durch die drei Flüsse Weißach im Südosten, Bregenzer Ach im Südwesten und Rotach im Nordwesten, sowie durch tief in das weiche Gestein eingeschnittene Gräben gebildet.
