Bruckneudorf ist eine Gemeinde mit 3042 Einwohnern im Burgenland, die geographisch und historisch den über die Landesgrenze hinausgewachsenen Teil der niederösterreichischen Stadt Bruck an der Leitha darstellt.Das Gebiet war zu römischer Zeit bereits dicht besiedelt, auf dem Truppenübungsplatz, beim „Öden Kloster“ gelegen, befand sich die römische Villa von Königshof-Ödes Kloster, wenige Kilometer östlich des heutigen Ortes liegt mit der römischen Kaiservilla Bruckneudorf einer der wichtigsten Villenfundplätze Ostösterreichs.
