Die Dornbirner Ach ist neben der nördlicher verlaufenden Bregenzer Ach einer der wichtigsten Abflüsse für die kleineren Bäche des westlichen Bregenzerwaldgebirges und des unteren Rheintals im österreichischen Bundesland Vorarlberg. Bis zur Rheinregulierung mündete die Dornbirner Ach bei Fußach in den Bodensee. Heute fließt der rund 30 Kilometer lange Fluss bei Hard östlich vom und einige Kilometer parallel zum Rhein in den Bodensee und durchquert zuvor das Gemeindegebiet der Stadt Dornbirn.
