Das Maria-Theresien-Denkmal ist das wichtigste Herrscherdenkmal der Habsburgermonarchie in Wien. Es erinnert an Maria Theresia, Erzherzogin von Österreich, Gattin und seit 1765 Kaiserinwitwe von Kaiser Franz I. Stephan von Lothringen. Sie regierte die Habsburgermonarchie 1740 bis 1780. Das Denkmal steht seit 1888 auf dem Maria-Theresien-Platz an der Wiener Ringstraße zwischen den damaligen Hofmuseen, dem 1891 eröffneten Kunsthistorischen Museum und dem 1889 eröffneten Naturhistorischen Museum, vor dem Hintergrund der damaligen Hofstallungen, des heutigen Museumsquartiers. Das von Tritonen- und Najadenbrunnen begleitete Ensembledenkmal zählt zum Weltkulturerbe Historisches Zentrum von Wien.
