Der Name Lobroekdok wurde zwei Docks im Hafen von Antwerpen gegeben; das Alte und das Neue Lobroekdok. Das Alte Lobroekdok wurde auch Nordschippersdok genannt und lag westlich des heutigen Neuen Lobroekdok im Stadtteil Dam, als die IJzerlaan noch Teil des Kempischen Kanals war. Die Straßen Nordschippersdok und Lange Lobroekstraat erinnern an das Ausmaß des Alten Lobroekdok, das 1878 gegraben und 1957 eingedeckt wurde.
