Der Dodengang ist ein Komplex aus erhaltenen Gräben aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Der Dodengang liegt neben einer Biegung des Flusses IJzer in der Diksmuidener Teilgemeinde Kaaskerke. Dieses Komplex ist das letzte Stück der belgischen Front aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg. Tausende Soldaten sind in der Zeit von 1914 bis 1918 dort ums Leben gekommen. Es ist ein Ort, der extremes menschliches Leid in sich trägt.
