Das Naturschutzgebiet De Viconiakleiputten ist eine 20 ha große alte Tonabbauzone der ehemaligen Ziegelei von Nieuwpoort. Die Ausgrabung erfolgte sehr unregelmäßig und relativ flach, wodurch ein differenziertes Biotop aus offenen Wasserflächen, Schlickflächen, Schilfrohrfeldern und Wiesen entstand. Das Gebiet, das nach dem Schlossbauernhof vor Ihnen benannt ist, ist ein Brut- und Nahrungsgebiet für Enten und Schilfrohrsänger.
