Der Place de la Monnaie oder Muntplein, was "Münzplatz" bedeutet, ist ein großer Platz im Zentrum von Brüssel, Belgien. Das Königliche Theater La Monnaie, Heimat der Nationaloper von Belgien, befindet sich auf diesem Platz. Er wird von der Metro- und Premetro-Station De Brouckère auf den Linien 1, 3, 4 und 5 bedient. Der Place de la Monnaie hat seinen Namen von einer alten Münzwerkstatt oder Münzstätte, die im ehemaligen Hôtel Ostrevant errichtet wurde und von dem 14. bis 16. Jahrhundert den Großteil des heutigen Platzes einnahm. Der Name dieses Ortes—La Monnaie auf Französisch oder De Munt auf Niederländisch—blieb über die Jahrhunderte hinweg mit dem Platz verbunden.
