Harchies ist ein Teil der belgischen Gemeinde Bernissart, die in der wallonischen Region in der Provinz Hainaut liegt. Die Gemeinde fusionierte 1964 mit Bernissart, um die neue Gemeinde Bernissart zu bilden, die 1977 erneut mit einer Reihe von benachbarten Gemeinden fusionierte, um das große BERNISSART zu bilden.
