Brasserie de Vlegel ist eine etablierte Größe in Mortsel. Im Juni 2018 übergab der ehemalige Betreiber Patrick Ghys das Zepter an den neuen chinesischen Eigentümer Yang Hu. Das bewährte Konzept bleibt erhalten: Das Lokal hat sieben Tage die Woche geöffnet und auch das Frühstück für einen Euro bleibt auf der Karte. Die Vlegel möchte ein Treffpunkt für alle Altersgruppen sein, die im Lokal mit wunderschönem Garten für einen demokratischen Snack und Drink einkehren können.
