La Brasserie de Vlegel est une valeur établie à Mortsel. En juin 2018, l'ancien exploitant Patrick Ghys a passé le flambeau au nouveau propriétaire chinois Yang Hu. Le concept éprouvé reste inchangé : l'établissement est ouvert sept jours sur sept et le petit-déjeuner à un euro reste au menu. Le Vlegel souhaite être un lieu de rencontre pour tous les âges où l'on peut profiter de la magnifique jardin pour une collation et une boisson à des prix démocratiques.
