Jahrhundert stammt die Tatsache, dass Angela, eine edle Dame aus Brabant, an St. Peter in Köln das Allod (freies Gut) von Leeuw schenkte, sieben Meilen lang und eine Meile breit, mit der Mutterkirche und ihren neun Tochterkirchen sowie dem Herrenland und Einnahmen. Mit diesem Text geht man zurück zu Bischof Hildebald, 785- 3. Sept. 819, der vollen karolingischen Periode.
