Das Schloss von Ordingen liegt in der Gemeinde Ordingen von Sint-Truiden, in der belgischen Provinz Limburg, ganz nahe an der Melsterbeek. In den frühen Mittelalter, ab 1040, werden Quellen die Herren von Ordingen erwähnt. Ihr Schloss diente als Wachposten an der Grenze zur Grafschaft Loon. Messire Adam de Harduemont wird 1253 erwähnt. Seine Kinder und Enkel waren bis ins 14. Jahrhundert Bewohner des Schlosses. Mangel an Nachkommen führte dazu, dass das Schloss in den Besitz der verwandten Familie Duras überging.
