Cristal Alken ist ein Pilsbier, das im Mai 1928 als erstes Pils in Belgien von Jozef Indekeu und Edouard Boes in Alken kreiert wurde. Das Bier wird heute in der Limburgischen Brauerei von Alken gebraut. Zum Zeitpunkt der Gründung von Cristal waren viele belgische Brauer noch nicht in der Lage, Bier mit Untergärung zu produzieren, weshalb das Produkt als revolutionär empfangen wurde. Jozef Indekeu und seine Brauerfamilie legten damit den Grundstein für die belgische Pilsproduktion. Die Marke entwickelte sich zum bekanntesten Pils in Limburg, wird aber auch weit darüber hinaus vertrieben. 1989 erhielt die Brauerei in London die Goldmedaille (Monde Sélection) für Qualität. Anlässlich des 80-jährigen Bestehens wurde 2008 Cristal 1928 (5,8%) vorgestellt, gebraut im Stil des originalen Pilseners aus dem frühen 20. Jahrhundert.
