Die Pontbrücke ist eine Betonbogenbrücke, die das Dorfzentrum von Drongen in der ostflämischen Hauptstadt Gent mit den Assels und dem Wohngebiet Drie Leien in Afsnee, ebenfalls einem Stadtteil von Gent, verbindet. Die Pontbrücke über einen Arm des Flusses Leie ist die einzige Zugangstraße für den motorisierten Verkehr zu diesen Vierteln, da sie auf einer Insel zwischen zwei Leie-Ästen und dem Ringvaart liegt. Die Leie ist hier eigentlich ein nördlicher Abzweig, der von den Drie Leien entlang der Abtei und dem Gemeindeplatz von Drongen in Richtung Ossemeersen und Gent fließt. Dieser Leie-Arm ist für die Schifffahrt nicht nutzbar. An der Anbindung an den Ringvaart liegt schließlich ein extrem niedriger Durchgang.
