Laut einer Legende wurde eine Holzstatue in einer Holzgrube des Hofes 't Hof in Veylst gefunden. Diese stellte die Mutter von Mara dar: die Heilige Anna. Sie trug Maria auf ihrem Arm, die wiederum Jesus trug. Die Statue wurde zuerst in einigen Holzkapellen platziert, aber schließlich entstand 1639 eine Steinkapelle. Dies soll mit der Pestepidemie verbunden sein, von der in der Region viele Menschen verschont geblieben waren. (und diesem Bildnis zugeschrieben). Wusstest du, dass seit 1631 jeden Dienstagabend die Kapellenmesse gehalten wird?
