Die neue Bossenaarmühle wurde 1996 auf dem Hügelgipfel des Bossenaar gegründet. Sie steht damit ungefähr an derselben Stelle wie die alte, 1939 verschwundene Bossenaarmühle.
Diese hölzerne Windmühle besteht aus einem großen quadratischen Eichenkasten, der auf einem schweren Pfahl oder Stamm ruht, um den der Kasten drehen kann. Unten an dieser Standardmühle oder Stammmühle wurde ein kleiner Lagerraum gebaut, sodass man von einer geschlossenen Stammmühle spricht. Der Name verweist auf den Ortsnamen Bossenaar.
