Der Garten heißt 'Shin Kai Tei'. Shin bedeutet 'tief, tiefsinnig, gelehrt'. Es verweist auf die reiche Geschichte und steht für Tradition. Shin steht zugleich als Symbol für die reiche Geschichte des Ortes, an dem der Garten geschaffen wurde: die Anlagen der königlichen Villa. Kai bedeutet 'See, Ozean'. Tei bedeutet 'Garten', aber auch 'Heiligtum'. Es ist eine heilige Stätte, ideal um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Frei übersetzt heißt unser Garten somit 'Tiefes Meer Garten'. Shin Kai Tei ist ein Garten zum Lustwandeln. Der prächtige Weiher in Form eines Schildkröte bildet das Herzstück des Gartens.
