Grandrieu ist ein Teil der belgischen Gemeinde Sivry-Rance, die in der Wallonischen Region in der Provinz Hainaut liegt.
Das Dorf wird von der Thure durchquert und grenzt im Norden an Leugnies, im Osten an Solre-Saint-Géry, im Süden an Sivry und im Westen an die französischen Gemeinden Hestrud, Beaurieux und Cousolre. Es war eine eigenständige Gemeinde, bevor es 1977 zu der Fusion der Gemeinden kam.
