Aartrijke ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Westflandern. Aartrijke war bis zur kommunalen Neugliederung von 1977 eine selbständige Gemeinde und ist seitdem eine Teilgemeinde von Zedelgem. Ein Einwohner von Aartrijke wird Aartrijkenaar genannt. Archäologische Funde zeugen von einer Besiedelung der Region in der Jungsteinzeit. Luftaufnahmen zeigen kreisförmige Strukturen, die aus der Bronzezeit und der frühen Eisenzeit stammen. Der Name Aartrijke hat römische Ursprünge, durch Aartrijke führten römische Straßen und es wurden auch Münzen und Keramiken gefunden. Die Straßen betrafen Divercula, nämlich den heutigen Zeeweg und die heutige Steenstraat.
