Zoerle-Parwijs ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Antwerpen und ein Stadtteil von Westerlo. Zoerle-Parwijs war eine eigenständige Gemeinde bis zur Gemeindereform von 1971. Bereits auf der "Tiendkaart von Hulshout" wird Zoerle-Parwijs als "Soerle" erwähnt. Die Ergänzung Parwijs verweist auf den Herrn von Parwijs. Man denkt dabei an Perwez, eine Gemeinde in Wallonisch-Brabant, nahe Geldenaken. Vermutlich kam Soerle, durch Verleihung, unter die Herrschaft des Herrn von Perwez, und von dort stammt die Ergänzung Perwez oder Parwijs hinter dem Namen Soerle.
