Neerlinter ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz flämisch-Brabant und ein Stadtteil von Linter. Neerlinter liegt an der Großen Gete im Süden des Hageland, dem Obstanbaugebiet von flämisch-Brabant. Neerlinter war bis zur Gemeindereform von 1971 eine eigenständige Gemeinde. Die Region zwischen Tienen und Zoutleeuw wird seit Menschengedenken Linter genannt. Ein Dokument aus dem Jahr 1139 erwähnt zum ersten Mal Oplinter und Neerlinter – angrenzende Dörfer an der Großen Gete – sowie Boeslinter. Boeslinter ist eine Verballhornung von Boenslinter, einem Weiler von Bunsbeek, das früher „Boensbeek“ geschrieben wurde.
