Kaster ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Westflandern und ein Teilgemeinde von Anzegem. Es war bis zur Gemeindereform von 1977 eine selbständige Gemeinde. Um 1920 wurden Schaber und Pfeilspitzen aus dem Neolithikum gefunden. Obwohl der Ort von der römischen Heerstraße von Bavai nach Oudenburg durchschnitten wurde und auch der Ortsname Kaster anscheinend vom römischen Wort castrum stammt, wurden bisher keine Überreste eines römischen Militärlagers gefunden, obwohl Funde von römischen Münzen, Scherben und Stücke von Dachziegeln gemacht wurden. 1977 und danach wurden auch Überreste einer römischen Siedlung gefunden.
