Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Antwerpen und ein Ortsteil von Sint-Katelijne-Waver. Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver war eine selbständige Gemeinde bis zur geografischen Neugliederung von 1977. Der Name Waver wird erstmals in einer Urkunde von 1008 erwähnt, in der der deutsche König Heinrich II. auf seine Jagdrechte im Waverwald verzichtet, der sich zwischen der Nete und der Dijle erstreckte. Im 11. Jahrhundert gehörte der Wald zum Herzogtum Brabant und zum alten Bistum Kamerijk. Die erste bekannte Erwähnung der Pfarrei Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver, “sanctam Mariam in Wavera”, stammt aus dem Jahr 1266. Das Dorf war im Besitz der Familie Berthout und gehörte zum Land von Mechelen.
