Onze-Dame-de-Wavre è un villaggio nella provincia belga di Anversa ed è una frazione di Sint-Katelijne-Waver. Onze-Dame-de-Wavre era un comune indipendente fino alla ristrutturazione comunale del 1977. Il nome Waver viene menzionato per la prima volta in un atto del 1008, in cui il re tedesco Enrico II rinuncia ai suoi diritti di caccia nella foresta di Waver che si trovava tra il Nete e la Dijle. Nell'11° secolo la foresta apparteneva al ducato di Brabante e al vecchio vescovado di Cambrai. La prima menzione conosciuta della parrocchia Onze-Dame-de-Wavre, “sanctam Mariam in Wavera”, risale al 1266. Il villaggio era di proprietà della famiglia Berthout e faceva parte della Terra di Malines.
