Wusstest du, dass diese Fähre etwas mit dem bekannten Lied "Lena" von 2 Belgiern zu tun hat. Die Fährfrau, die hier früher wohnte, hieß Lena. Und das Haus der Fährfrau Lena wurde einst von dem Sänger und Gitarristen Rembert De Smet bewohnt, einem der Mitglieder der Band 2 Belgien. Rembert De Smet suchte beim Schreiben des Liedes nach einem guten weiblichen Namen, der leicht wiederholt werden konnte. Und so kam er auf den Namen der Fährfrau.
2 Belgien war eine belgische Newwaveband aus den 80er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts. Ihre bekanntesten und beliebtesten Lieder sind Opération Coup de Poing (1984), Queen of Mine (1985) und vor allem Lena (1985).
