Dieses Denkmal ländlicher Kultur wurde erstmals auf einer Rollkarte dargestellt, die 1624 im Auftrag des Klosters Nieuwenbos erstellt wurde, und befindet sich heutzutage in sehr marodem Zustand. Die Mühle ist jedoch seit 2005 ein geschütztes Denkmal, und der Verein Natuurpunt hat die Ambition, die Mühle wieder in Betrieb zu nehmen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich einige alte Hochstammobstgärten, die den angrenzenden Höfen gehören.
