Der Tomberg (102,5 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel) ist einer der höchsten Punkte des Meerdaalwalds. Auf diesem Tomberg wurde bis Ende 1600 Waldrecht gesprochen. Hier wurde sogar ein Gebäude errichtet, um dieses Gericht tagen zu lassen. Archäologen fanden hier verschiedene Nutzungsgegenstände aus Feuerstein (Naturstein).
