"Den Dikke van Pamel" (lokal auch kurz "den dicken" genannt) ist eine berühmte Dorfgestalt in Roosdaal (Pamel). Sein echter Name war "Victor De Klercq". Er wurde am 14. Juni 1848 in Pamel geboren und starb dort am 16. Februar 1885. Nach seinem tatsächlichen Gewicht ist es schwer zu raten, aber Victor war eine enorm breite und schwere Figur. Am 9. September 2001 wurde ein Denkmal in der Kaaistraat in Roosdaal eingeweiht. Die Statue wurde von dem Künstler Patrick Van Craenenbroeck entworfen.
