"Den Dikke van Pamel" (ou localement simplement "den dikke") est une figure célèbre du village de Roosdaal (Pamel). Son vrai nom était "Victor De Klercq". Il est né à Pamel le 14 juin 1848 et y est mort le 16 février 1885. Selon son poids réel, c'est difficile à deviner, mais Victor était une figure extrêmement large et imposante. Le 9 septembre 2001, une statue a été inaugurée à la Kaaistraat à Roosdaal. La statue a été conçue par l'artiste Patrick Van Craenenbroeck.
