Das Dorf Jezus-Eik entstand als ein Wallfahrtsort mitten im Wald. Inzwischen liegt es am Rand des Waldes und neben der Autobahn E411. Die vielen Gastronomiebetriebe bedienen heute eher die Waldbesucher als die Pilger, und auch der Name des Gemeinschaftszentrums ‘de Bosuil’ verweist auf die Verbindung des Dorfes mit dem Wald. Der Masterplan für Jezus-Eik möchte diese Verbindung weiter stärken. So gibt es dort bereits einen großen Spielbereich.
Ganz in der Nähe findest du auch den Zugang zum Geografischen Arboretum von Tervuren, wo du mehr als 400 Baumarten aus der ganzen Welt entdecken kannst.
