In Sint-Martens-Lierde, einer Teilgemeinde von Lierde, findet man die Überreste der Kartäuserpriorat, die hier zwischen 1329 und 1352 aus dem Boden wuchsen. Man sieht noch das Prioratshaus, das beeindruckende Tor, das Gästequartier, die Wohnstätte des Procurators, die Scheune und einen Teil der Befestigungsmauer. Die Abteikirche dient jetzt als Pfarrkirche. Sehr gute Akustik, malerisch gelegen.
