Mit Ausnahme eines romanischen Turms mit Turmuhr ist die Kirche fast vollständig im für das Hennegau typischen gotischen Stil erbaut. Sie befindet sich in einem ummauerten Friedhof gegenüber dem alten Pfarrhaus.
Die Vorhalle der Kirche ist mit alten Grabplatten bestückt. Im Inneren befinden sich zwei quer liegende Kapellen und Kreuzrippengewölbe aus Backstein. Man beachte den Chor mit hölzerner Außenverkleidung, die Predigtkanzel (18. Jh.), die Statuen der Heiligen Martin, Sebastian und Aloisius, eine Kommunionsbank Ludwig XV., ein schönes Kruzifix von 1570 an der linken Innenmauer sowie das Taufbecken und denkmalgeschützte Orgel (1772) von Pieter1 Van Peteghem.
