Die Sixtuswälder erstrecken sich über den Hügelzug nordwestlich von Poperinge. Es handelt sich um eine Sammlung von kleineren Wäldern, die zur bekannten Sint Sixtus-Abtei gehören, wo Mönche ihr köstliches Trappistenbier brauen. Ein Besuch im Klausur, ein Trappist zu probieren und einen Spaziergang durch die Wälder kann man auf der Sint-Sixtus-Wanderroute (7,1 km) kombinieren. Diese ist im Tourismusbüro Poperinge erhältlich.
