Die Pollismühle ist eine unterschlächtig betriebene Wassermühle, die vor 1078 erbaut wurde. Die Mühle wurde als Getreidemühle an der Wijshagerbeek genutzt.
Die Pollismühle in Opitter ist seit 2015 wieder voll mahlfähig. Diese schöne Unterschlägmühle mit einem authentischen Holzinnenleben wurde bereits 1078 erwähnt. Das heutige Gebäude und das Innenleben stammen etwa aus dem Jahr 1870. Die Mühle liegt derzeit nicht mehr an der Itter, sondern am Wijshager- oder Eetsevelderbeek. Es ist eine der ältesten Mühlen der Region. Die Mühle stellte 1961 den Betrieb ein. Sie wurde 1981 von der Gemeinde Bree gekauft und 1987 restauriert. Heute hat die Mühle eine gastronomische Funktion.
Die Pollismühle in Opitter kann sonntags oder nach Vereinbarung besichtigt werden. Ein Besuch dieser jahrhundertealten Mühle rundet deinen Besuch in Bree ab.
