Akrenbos liegt zwischen Lessines und Bever und ist Teil eines größeren Waldkomplexes 'Bois d’Acren' im Gebiet der Provinz Hennegau. Es befindet sich am Hang eines Bachtals, der Arenbergbeek liegt an der Grenze zu Hennegau. Das Bachtal beherbergt eine typische Quellwaldflora. Trotz der Hanglage gibt es wenige Hohlwege oder Böschungen. Der südliche Teil wird 'Bos del Gouffe' genannt. Im östlichen Teil liegen mehrere Parzellen Wiesen- und Ackerland.
