Die Eupener Talsperre wird auch „Wesertalsperre“ genannt und häufig mit der Gileppe-Talsperre (in Jalhay) verwechselt. Sie wird vom Weserbach, Getzbach und Hillbach gespeist – letzterer über einen 1,5 km langen Verbindungstunnel.
Die Talsperre ist wenige Kilometer von Eupen entfernt und weist eine Höhe von 63 Metern auf. Von ihrem Panoramarestaurant bietet sich ein außergewöhnlicher Blick auf den See.
Der inmitten von viel Grün gelegene Ort ist der Ausgangspunkt für interessante Spaziergänge und Wanderungen. Kleine Besucher wissen ganz besonders den großen Spielplatz zu schätzen.
Zudem steht eine Kletterwand zur Verfügung, die zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten in Anwesenheit eines erfahrenen Betreuers genutzt werden kann.
